Gabriel Guiță — lead frontend developer

Senior frontend for agencies with more work than hands

Seventeen years of frontend — seven of them in Amsterdam, building for Geodan, ERIKS, Fontem Ventures and Dexper. TypeScript, React, Vue, the design systems that hold large products together — and, more recently, LLM features shipped into live products.

I work with digital agencies across the EU on overflow and fixed-scope projects. Fully remote, invoiced B2B from a Romanian company. Currently subcontracting to a German technology group.

What I take on

Fixed scope

Design systems

Component libraries, web components, Storybook. Built so the rest of your team can move faster afterwards — not a one-off deliverable.

Fixed scope

Migrations & rebuilds

Vue 2 → 3, legacy React, framework moves. Assessment first, so you can price the work before committing to it.

By the sprint

Embedded with your team

Senior capacity when a project lands that you can't staff. Your process, your repo, your standups.

LLM features in production

Your clients are asking for AI. Demos are easy; shipping isn't.

The gap is rarely the model. It's structured output from messy real-world input, handling the cases that fail, keeping token cost predictable, and knowing when quality has quietly regressed.

I build these as product features, with the same rigour as any other part of the frontend — because that's where they break.

Document extraction, in production

A Gemini-based pipeline turning unstructured invoices into validated structured data, inside a live compliance product.

MCP server architecture

Model Context Protocol servers over dual stdio/HTTP transport, giving assistants controlled access to real internal tools.

Where the line is

I don't train or fine-tune models, and I won't pretend otherwise. I build the product layer on top of them — the part your client actually experiences.

How working together works

Clean on paper

I invoice through DOTUX SRL, a Romanian company. No contractor classification risk, no personal-services paperwork on your side.

Fixed price for defined scope, day rate for embedded work. You get an estimate before anything starts.

Familiar territory

Seven years working in the Dutch market and currently with a German group — I know how EU agencies run projects, and I've been the subcontractor on the other side of this arrangement for years.

Fully remote on EET hours: a full working-day overlap with Germany, the Netherlands and the Nordics. Happy to travel for a kickoff.

If you have a project you can't staff, I'd like to be on your list.
